Post 2 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Monday, 06-Jun-2005 5:00:43

Well, hard to say, because it's a German film called Barefoot, about a girl who is locked up and escapes and meets a man and ... oh, well, who wants to know more can talk to me.

Torico, this is my other favourite film!!!!!!!!! It is great.

Post 6 by Resonant (Find me alive.) on Monday, 06-Jun-2005 12:47:37

Chocolat. My favourite Chick-flic ever, though does it count since the romance isn't the central point? OK, the A&E mini-series of Pride and Prejudice. Love it!

Yes, Stargate, I totally agree!!! See, that's why I can not only mention one: Because if I do, another one mentions another one and I have to agree *grins*. Bridget Jones is great!!! Or, how about Moulin rouge?

Cold Mountain.
Nicole Kidman is fabulous, and rene zelwegger is awesomely, side-splittingly funny. Oh, and Jack White sings really well.

Post 20 by Luce (Zone BBS Addict) on Sunday, 09-Oct-2005 18:50:16

Ahhhh, I could name hundreds that I think are great! I really wanted to see The Notebook though, heard it was dubbed the romantic movie of all time, but I missed it at the cinema :(. I loved Bridget Jones, but wouldn't say it was overly romantic. Something like 50 first dates, comedy or not, it's about pure love. And I thought Notting Hill was damn romantic too... it made me cry! Don't know which I would say was the best of all time though.

Post 21 by torian princess (The original Blakanadian.) on Wednesday, 23-Nov-2005 15:53:34

Either a walk to remember or Pretty woman.

Post 23 by Luce (Zone BBS Addict) on Wednesday, 23-Nov-2005 17:58:32

awwww, and I nearly bought the notebook the other day! I've heard it's tipped as the most romantic film since titanic. What an idiot I am!

Post 24 by Paparazzi (The Biggest Fan of Your Life) on Wednesday, 08-Feb-2006 13:27:18

I still say Phantom of the Opera or The notebook I also like save the last dance but if you want to go sad it would be titanic good romance movie not as good as the notebook but still

Post 25 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Wednesday, 08-Feb-2006 16:12:08

Moulin Rouge. I hate Titanic though. Yay for safe the last dance I love it. I have seen it four times already, or five.

Post 26 by Nage (Your father's friend's daughter's roommate's niece) on Friday, 10-Feb-2006 23:35:27

Hmm all good movies. But I'd have to say notebook is the best! I loved it and the book made me cry. Oh yes, a walk to remember made me cry rivers! It's definetly down to those two though... Oh wait! Phantom was also good... Cant decide...

Post 27 by Pure love (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Tuesday, 16-May-2006 15:16:19

Notting hill is another great movie.

Post 28 by complicated_melody (Zone BBS Addict) on Thursday, 25-May-2006 14:10:27

oh gosh. see, I'm agreeing with all of ya'll, lol. I absolutely love save the last dance, it's adorable and romantic and yes. and the notebook, and a walk to remember...gah. I have all three, maybe I'll watch them all in one day and just spend the day curled up with lots of chocolate and a big box of tissues. lol

Post 29 by torian princess (The original Blakanadian.) on Saturday, 27-May-2006 13:02:23

I'd have to say either a walk to remember or pretty woman.

Post 30 by Pure love (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Sunday, 28-May-2006 15:18:56

Lol, comoplicated_melody. And, pretty woman ... didn't like it quite as much, to be honest.

Post 31 by The Giggling Cowboy (Veteran Zoner) on Saturday, 05-May-2007 13:16:35

A walk to remember, The Notebook, Something's gotta give, and Ghost are my top favorite romantic ones.

Post 32 by Blue Velvet (I've got the platinum golden silver bronze poster award.) on Saturday, 05-May-2007 13:21:01

Almost any romance movie with Julia Roberts. Also, I agree about Ghost. Loved that movie.

Post 33 by Daenerys Targaryen (Enjoying Life) on Monday, 01-Jun-2009 15:58:41

Love And Basketball

Post 34 by metal angel (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Wednesday, 03-Jun-2009 1:11:26

twilight, the notebook was good, The Phantom Of The Opera, and all the Underworld movies! Most wouldn't consider them romance, but there's a little. Come on! Can't vampires and lykons have some to?

Post 35 by turricane (happiness and change are choices ) on Wednesday, 03-Jun-2009 9:03:07

casablanca. it's an oldy but it's a classic for a reason. humphrey bogart is so damn hot.

titanic sucks. Here is what my son who was then 10 said about it. Mommy, if jack had lived, that relationship wouldn't have lasted three months right? They didn't have birth control, so kate winslet would have gotten nocked up real quick. What free and easy roaming artistd would have stayed with a fat pregnant lady who whined about her swolen ankles? I won't comment about the total unbelievability of kate and leonardo de craprio running in and out of the frigid arctic ocean and not getting hypothermia. there were other characters in that movie i liked far better then the so called hero and heroine. ick.

I have yet to see the notebook and walk to remember. I am going to read the books first. Thanks for great suggestions.

Post 36 by Songbird83 (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Tuesday, 09-Jun-2009 2:16:42

Well, I have a few that I really like that haven't been mentioned. I really love music and lyrics. I wish that the song way back into love was a single because I think it would've been a popular song, but oh well. Anyway, I really like while you were sleeping, ghost, must love dogs, 13 going on 30, just like heaven, groundhog day, and trial and error. Yes some of those are kkind of romantic comedies, but what the hell, lol. So there's my little list. Guess I'll have to start watching more movies now.

Post 37 by Daenerys Targaryen (Enjoying Life) on Tuesday, 09-Jun-2009 7:30:27

I love While You Were Sleeping Too.

The fountainhead, had a lot of romance, and it was also a philosophical watch.
